Black Porsche 911 Turbo on our private access road

Storing your car while you travel from Dover

If you are travelling abroad from the Port of Dover or Le Shuttle, you need somewhere to leave the car while you are away. Here is what to think about, and how storage with us works.

Why not just leave it on the drive?

A car left outside for weeks is exposed to the weather, with nobody around to keep an eye on it. Indoor storage keeps it out of sight and out of the weather until you are home.

How it works with us

  • Bring the car to us before you travel. We share our exact location when you book.
  • We store it indoors, covered by CCTV and 24/7 alarm monitoring, in private grounds with our own access road.
  • We are not able to drive you to the port ourselves, but we can arrange a taxi for you.
  • Tell us when you are coming home and we will have the car ready.

What it costs

Our plans have a minimum stay of two months, starting at £150 a month. Shorter stays are welcome too, with a minimum charge of £100. If you would like the battery kept topped up while you are away, our battery monitoring and trickle charging service is £25 a month.

Before you go

  • Keep your car insured while it is in storage. This is a condition of storing with us.
  • Collections need at least 24 hours’ notice. If your plans change and you need the car sooner, we will do our best, and access with less than 24 hours’ notice costs £195.
  • Our core hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. If you arrive or return outside these hours, waiting time is charged at £25 an hour, in 15-minute blocks.
